Mark Levin has a gift of conveying in short and non technical terminology, the ideas that were behind the foundation of this country and what made it great as well as the hurdles we face in the future that we will need to surmount in order to keep our country great. It has somehting for everyone, for conservatives it spells out the basis for many of their beliefs as well as the consequences when those beliefs are compromised. For liberals it provides an intellectual presentation of another point of view that is almost non-existent in the main stream media which has chosen to advocate a particular political point of view both openly and surreptitiously and forego the ideals of journalism.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys politics and has an open mind.

Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto
This book is utterly brilliant. I was a pretty hardcore liberal until I dove into educating MYSELF and not letting the college I attend do it for me. I decided to pick up this book and I'm glad I did. I have realized that my previous beliefs were drastically flawed and were based on nothing. In other words, I believed in 'nothing.' This book has not only opened my eyes to our founders but also made me realize that ONLY I can make the best of myself. This book has given me a new outlook on myself and also my principles which I previously didn't have. Thank you Mark Levin. I might also note, that I have also read many other works after this including the Constitution and I am now a staunch Conservative.

This should be required reading for every citizen and non-citizen alike.
It delineates the foundation for our republic and how it has been degraded by devious, self-serving politicians, greedy and dishonest businessmen, and a well meaning but uninformed public lacking common sense.

Mr. Levin's book is a great reminder of the principles on which our country was founded. It's good to meditate on the meaning of the words in the founding documents, especially the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

This is one of the best conservative books I have ever read. This is an instant classic. Mark Levin is a brilliant attorney and entertaining conservative talk show host who details the aims and goals of the Statists (sometimes referred to as a Modern Liberal). In this book, it helps the reader understand that a lot of what is going on at the moment -- an attempt to nationalize our health care system, create a cap-and-trade energy scheme, impose sky-high income taxes, are part of a bankrupt ideology that seeks to enslave the population and put them under the control of an authoritarian government. This is one of my favorite books, and every patriot should have it on his bookshelf.
