I'm glad I got this product just a few days after buying my Eee 1000HE. The 1000HE's blue lid is shiny and beautiful, but I was constantly wiping it down to erase fingerprints and smudges, and I quickly tired of that level of maintenance. This design complements the dark blue color of my netbook, looks quite attractive, and doesn't show fingerprints or smudges. It has two pieces, one for the lid and one for the wristrest, and I applied them both.



I've had a DecalGirl skin on another netbook, and found that it was durable and although it stuck firmly through several months of use, it could be removed cleanly - leaving no residue behind. So I'm confident in this brand.

I would suggest having a second pair of hands when you put it on as well other than that it is simple. Delivery was quick and the packaging was very protective of the product. Well worth the price.

Ordered it for my Asus He. It arrived promtly in a big cardboard envelope. Covered my "baby" with no problems although i suggest you enlist someone else to help to line the decal up. If you mess up decal can be unpeeled and reaplied. I suggest using a book to smooth it out. Turn your notebook sideways before putting decal and you will match the sides easier. It looks great, and fingerprints are much less visible.

My nice new ASUS Eee PC 901 is black and the exterior lid is shiny. Shiny hard plastic surfaces, besides showing smears and fingerprints easily, also quickly get scratched in normal use. A protective covering for that area is a good idea, and I like the idea of decorating my little notebook for fun and easy recognition.



I ordered this "cruising" design skin/decal here. It arrived promptly and is attractive, and feels substantial. The design is well-executed and the colors are crisp and bright. Although the instructions from the decal company's website say you need two people to properly apply these decals to a laptop, I managed to do it alone on my tiny Eee PC. I do wish I'd seen that before I ordered, though, and I don't know that I'd try to apply a decal to a larger notebook computer without a helper.



This product includes a decal made for the wrist-rest area inside the unit, which I also applied. The skins are attractive and fit well, and I like the design. Bottom line: a modest expenditure to protect and enhance the appearance of my little netbook.



The skin is supposed to be removable, eventually, but until I get tired of the design and just want to change it, or it starts showing a lot of wear, I won't find out how easy that will be. But I'd much rather wear out an inexpensive decal instead of the finish on my notebook lid.
