Delivery was quick...now lets just hope the rebate is processed without any hassles. The 16GB SDHC card would not initially allow me to copy larger files to it (i.e. MP4 movies). However, after a quick NTSC format, the problem went away and has been working fine since. It doubles the memory of my ASUS 900 PC with 16 GB SDD.

As soon as I got it I re formated it on my mac. Put it in my camera and it wanted to re format it agian, so I said, whatever go ahead. All went smooth. Have used it in two different cameras. All pictures easily downloaded onto the mac no problems at all. Patriot has been making memory for a long time so they are a good company from that standpoint. They make mostly computer desktop and laptop memory. Rebate was nice too.

 "Works well but I'd look elsewhere for speed/portability." 2009-07-03

Pros: I got this specifically for the EEE pc since I was a little worried about anything not blantantly labeled "for the EEE" as memory that would not work in the netbook. It definitely works and is a nice little 16 gb hard drive to take the load off some of eee's that come with SSD hd's.



Cons: It's not very fast though and as some have said, compatibility with your desktop pc's or other laptops that you might want to stick it in for quick data transfer, might very well be an issue for some.

My card reader (which works with other SSD cards and micro SD) doesn't pick it up when I stick it in and that's frustrating because the thing by itself is relatively limited to both your netbooks transfer rate and just the fact that this SSD card isn't very fast period.



Other Thoughts: It does do it's job though and I haven't had it go out on me yet. I would say look elsewhere though if you want to reliably transfer data from other pcs to your SSD card that you end up getting for your netbooks. I didn't do all of my hw at the time on SSD cards and transfer speeds, but they do get faster than this from what I understand and at times, I wish I'd gotten the others.
