Nice little computer. I bought it to use at school for presentations because it is so portable. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5 is because if you use the external VGA port, the locking point is covered. I had to cut some of the VGA connector off of one end of the cable to get the locking cable to "barely" fit into the locking point. The computer is left out during the school day, so I have to lock it via the cable lock. If they would have moved the VGA port 1 cm forw......

I've had one of these marvelous machines for 6 months. Bought it as a "toy" and ended up using it for my travel. It's rapidly replacing my 17"HP. The problem is typing: no, the 92% keyboard is OK, it's the right shift key. It's placement is outside (to the right of) the up arrow key. I constantly miss it, and I'm a good typist.
Somebody ought to address this; it makes a great machine a good machine.

I've owned the Eee for 5 months and have really enjoyed it. I am still not used to the space bar so I doubt I ever will be. I am a right-thumbed space barer and they should have eliminated the right ALT key and extended the space bar. I don't use the right SHIFT key or that would be a problem too but there is a good fix for that one.
