nice aesthetics- finger print magnet aside, it's a beautiful piece of electronics. My favorite detail is the metallic cap on either side of the hinge.

battery life- superb so far. I've never had a laptop that lasts this long on battery!

screen- it's a matte screen. I took it outside and with brightness turned up I was able to read on it with little difficulty.

keyboard- responsive. Haven't noticed any flexing. The page up, page down, home and end keys are a lit......

Making this Netbook usable on trips out of town requires an upgraded hard drive, new memory and the purchase of an external dvd drive. By the time I paid for all these components, I could have bought a good notebook. Silly me! Now I have a good notebook with a small screen.

this thing has been super convenient.. added a 2 gb memory module.. other than that nothing added. runs great. connects to the internet quickly on wifi wherever I go. keyboard is pretty easy to type on.

my only peeves are the battery life is only 8 and not 9.5-but 8 is freaking amazing- and that the shift key is a bit too far to the left so I end up hitting the up arrow.

With Asus's new offering in the Eee series, I couldn't pass this up. While the 1000HE had some minor issues, it is all-around a strong product sure to please anyone without impossible expectations.

Delivery and Price: $383 is a bit pricey in today's competitive Netbook market, but for the price, you are getting your money's worth. As for delivery, which has no impact on my overall review, Amazon got it to me efficiently and for free.
