To me this is a lot better than a case or bag and most people can't even tell its a netbook I'm carrying :)

I purchased this item for my 8.9" screen netbook. Please be aware that this will only fit the slim ASUS 900 line of netbooks. I made a mistake of not reading the measurements properly and ended up with too tight a fit. This is a beautifully made, sturdy leather case. Although it will not provide the cushioning necessary to transport your netbook in a regular bag, it is an excellent product for carrying to and from your office and meetings or transporting in a cushioned bag. Also, please be aware that it is not a bag and is not made to provide space for anything other than your netbook. Because of it's quality and pizazz, I will keep it to cover a slim-fit netbook I plan to purchase for my daughter.

I have the eee pc 901, and this case does not provide a good fit for it. The case is stretching and slipping off the netbook, and the leather hand piece makes it rather hard to hit the lower row of keys. Perhaps this was intended for the slimmer eee pc ones (900, etc), but it DOES NOT fit the 901.
