The case is just..ok. I was expecting something a bit sturdier or heftier that would offer more than just surface/scratch protection. It fits my 1000HE very nicely and snugly, and looks just fine. It has openings for all the ports, and the wrist rest area is great.
I wanted a sort of "Book Cover" so I could make my 1000HE into an ebook reader...This cover makes it like a fancy little leather bound book. Nice. It will work just fine for me because I certainly won't be dropping or injuring my darling little 1000HE any time soon.
This is not a sturdy cover. This is just a pretty cover. If you need sturdy, find something else. If you want something fashionable, go for this.

I've changed my mind. The case has turned out to be quite sturdy. I've put it through the paces and I really do like it.
