I was pleasantly surprised to see that MyGift shipped the same day I placed my order. As for the item itself, it reminds me of old-school contact paper, or one-side-sticky shelf-lining paper, only *much* nicer. Very easy to apply when you have a ruler or similar flat/hard object, to kill the inevitable bubbles that try to prevent joy. Indeed, I appreciate the inherent quality of this item so much that I just purchased a second one. Cool finishing touch to my new Asus 1000HE. (No more fingerprints up da wazoo!!)

The netbook itself is an excellent product, it represents the quality that asus eee computers can bring. Before I tell you the postivies im gonna mention real quick the negatives and what you should be aware when you purchase this particular refurbished model. The laptop comes with a 4 cell battery which means that it at max lasts 3 and half hours which is kind of bad, and second thing to be aware about is that it has the celeron M processor which means that it it is not an atom concluding that it requires, and gets super hot. The processor is an old model of the ASUS netbooks lineup so what is going to happen the battery is gonna get sucked by the processor. So dont get scared if the laptop is boiling hot in your lap just make sure you dont leave it on like i do lol.



Now the positives, the laptop has an excellent viewing screen, people love it I know 5 people that are gonna buy asus eee now, the touchpad is graet, but the clicking buttons are insanely tough to press, the keyboard itself is great for netbooks. The color is sleek black with a nice glossy feeeling. People complain that it will get fingerprints but that is not necessarily true because i use it everyday and i dont see my figner prints.



Sice it is refuirbished it is going to come with a 3 month warranty directly from asus so dont worry about that, and it u notice any defects please dont keep it.

I thought I should write a review for this because some people buying these might wonder how they actually work and look. When I first bought mine I wondered if it would be sticky and ruin the glossy finish on my computer. Quite the opposite, it saves your computer from being scratched and scuffed. The film clings without any gluey substance, like plastic skin. It stays in place once you've put it on. I've had mine on for months now while carting my computer to and from school. It still looks fantastic. No rips or edges that are coming up. Best part is you can always get another design if you get bored with the one you bought. I highly recommend these.
